One of the strongest and most modern night vision devices in the world. Armasight BNVD-51 night vision device (Binocular Night Vision Device). The night vision device has two image sensors of the latest type (Bravo Ghost Generation 3) - used by elite military units in the USA and around the world.
 
The night vision device has options for manual and automatic image intensification control. The gain will self-decrease the brighter it gets and increase the darker it gets. They can also be corrected manually. The night vision device has a Dovetail mounting (successor to the classic Bayonet/Horn mounting) - it fits onto a Wilcox G24 helmet. The assembly can also be accompanied by various types of adapters so that it can be used with various types of mounts and head harnesses for night vision devices.
 
The night vision device can be powered by two types of batteries. CR123 battery (40 hours of operation time) or a classic AA (24 hours of operation time). The night vision device also has an infrared illuminator with which we can illuminate places that have such low lighting (or no lighting at all) that even such a powerful night vision device as the BNVD-51 cannot cope without infrared illumination. The night vision device is, of course, waterproof (IP67 level) - it can withstand immersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Even the heaviest rain or falling into the water is not a problem for it.
 
The huge advantage of this night vision device over typical US military night vision devices (PVS7 and PVS14) is that it does not have a typical field of view of 40 degrees, but of 51 degrees. This is over 25% more. In combat conditions at night, this is in practice a 25% greater chance of survival.
